REGULATIONS OF RESINDENCY

Application and selection for accommodation at SINOPIA
Less time of stay, one week  

The Residency Programs are divided into three time periods:
P1) Summer season 2024, June to October (applications deadline: 31/05/24)
P2) Winter season 2024 - 25, November to February (applications deadline: 30/10/24) and
P3) Spring season 2025, March to May (applications deadline: 28/02/25)
 
Accommodation costs
The cost amounts to 470€ for 7 days of accommodation and use of the studio.The price includes a day trip to Nafplio and the ancient Theater of Epidaurus.

Best price of families: The children for FREE.20% discount for partners and friends.
            
Signed contract with the terms of participation must be sent with the application.
By having a capacity for few participants (from 2 to 4 persons), from Sinopia we will make a selection of the candidate artists who will participate in the program. Candidates will receive an answer within a week from the last day of submission of applications.

Health Insurance
Participants must, before coming to Greece, have taken care of their personal travel and accommodation security. For their trip, they should inform themselves about the random emergency measures that may apply to travel in and out of the country due to the COVID 19 pandemic.

Accommodation and use of the art studio
Accommodation is in modern residences that provide all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The studio is located at a very close distance from the residences within the town. It is a comfortable space ideal for small groups of artists. Both, the residences and the studio have free Wi-Fi, a satisfactory connection for professional use. In the studio there is the possibility of using permanent equipment (for its use there is an analysis in the residence contract).
                         
Reservation and cancellation policy
•There are no restrictions for check in. The arrival time can be at any time, as long as you inform the Sinopia staff first.
• Once we approve your application, we require a 30% deposit and/or payment in full before we reserve the space for you and confirm your stay.
• Your reservation is complete when you receive a confirmation email from us. The approval of your request and the confirmation of your reservation implies full acceptance of the Reservation and Cancellation Policy and the signing of the contract. The contract with the conditions of the stay will be sent by us and after being signed by the participant, he will send it back to us.
• All prices and payments are in euros. The 30% deposit can be sent via Paypal, bank deposit or credit card. In the event that the deposit is not received within the specified time frame, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. All payment processing fees and charges, as well as currency conversion charges, if applicable, are payable by the guest in addition to the total amount of the selected package. The balance must be paid on arrival and can be paid by Paypal, bank deposit, credit card or cash.
• The cancellation of a reservation will only be effective when we receive a written confirmation of the cancellation. If a written cancellation is received 15 days prior to your arrival, your deposit will be refunded 50% plus an administrative fee of 30€. Unless you wish to reschedule your stay within a year of your original reservation (subject to availability).
